NEXT CENTRAL PRIDE MEETING:  tHURSDAY, February 23, 2012.  Principal's Conference Room.  6:30PM.  (the meeting for january 19th has been cancelled.)



tHE FOLLOWING GRANTS have been AWARDED IN 2010/2011:

       



1.  Little Green Newspaper  - $1000 Grant to cover publishing costs for the months of november and december, 2010.



2.  central vision news (cvn) - $1000 grant to purchase updated cam corder and tripod.



3.  central high school clubs and organizations - $1000 TO purchase an LCD projector for after school events.



4.  CHS Band - Operation pearl harbor - 120 band students will be traveling to hawaii  in december, 2011 in honor of the 70th anniversary of the pearl harbor bombing.  three central alum died there.  $14,000 was approved to sponsor 10 students at $1,400 each. 



5.  chaos robotics team - $1,500 was awarded to help cover student travel fees for their april championship event.


6.  $1,800 TO cENTRAL fRENCH cLUB TO DEFRAY COST OF STUDENT TRIP TO QUEBEC IN FEBRUARY, 2012
